Cancellation & Refund Policy
This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, project withdrawals, and refund requests are handled for Aureqis Insight consulting services and educational workshops. Project-specific written terms may supplement this policy.
1. General Principle
Consulting work involves reserved professional time, preparation, analysis, documentation, and scheduling. Refund eligibility therefore depends on whether work has begun, whether time has been reserved, whether deliverables have been prepared, and whether third-party or non-recoverable costs have been incurred.
2. Consultation and Workshop Rescheduling
Clients should request rescheduling as early as reasonably possible. Where notice is provided sufficiently in advance and an alternate time is available, we will generally attempt to move the session without a new service fee. Repeated rescheduling or short-notice changes may require a new scheduling arrangement or additional fee if significant preparation time has already been committed.
3. Cancellations Before Work Begins
If a client cancels before substantive project work begins, amounts paid for work not yet performed may be eligible for refund, less any clearly disclosed non-refundable booking amount, approved expenses, payment processing costs where legally permitted, or preparation work already completed.
4. Cancellations After Work Begins
Once analysis, meetings, research, workflow review, documentation, or other agreed work has begun, completed work is non-refundable. If a project is cancelled mid-engagement, we may calculate the value of work completed through the cancellation date and refund only any remaining prepaid amount that has not been earned or committed, subject to the project agreement.
5. Workshops
For workshops, fees may reflect preparation, customization, scheduling, and delivery. If a workshop is cancelled after customized materials or preparation have been completed, those portions of the fee may be non-refundable. If a session has already occurred, the fee for that delivered session is non-refundable.
6. Monthly Advisory Support
Monthly advisory arrangements cover reserved availability and services during the applicable billing period. Fees for a billing period that has already begun may be non-refundable to the extent time has been reserved or services have been provided. Future periods may be cancelled according to the notice requirements stated in the applicable service agreement.
7. Aureqis Insight Cancellation
If we cancel a paid service and cannot reasonably provide an alternative date or comparable agreed service, we will refund the amount paid for the portion we do not provide. This does not apply where work cannot proceed because the client has not provided required information, access, approvals, or participation.
8. Refund Request Process
Refund requests should identify the project or session, the reason for the request, and the payment involved. We may review project records, completed deliverables, preparation work, scheduled time, and the applicable agreement before determining the amount, if any, that is refundable.
9. Processing Time
Approved refunds are generally returned through an appropriate payment method within a commercially reasonable period. The time required for funds to appear may depend on banks, payment processors, or other financial institutions outside our control.
10. Non-Refundable Items
Completed consulting work, delivered workshops, finalized documentation, approved out-of-scope work, and non-recoverable third-party expenses are generally non-refundable. A refund will not be provided merely because a client decides not to implement a recommendation or because a third-party AI platform later changes its features or terms.
